The Maplewood Suite is located in the oldest part of the Inn (c. 1775-1795). Climb your private (albeit somewhat steep and narrow) staircase to the large sitting room which features beautiful pine floors, maple rocker, large desk, full size sleeper sofa, HDTV/Blu-ray player, mini-fridge, and large closet with in-room iron and ironing board.
At night, slip off to the adjoining bedroom appointed with maple canopy bed, antique bow-front wardrobe, cedar hope chest, and dresser with large mirror. In-room USB charging ports. Small private bath with shower and hair dryer is located off the bedroom.
Old buildings have lots of "character". This room, being furthest from the old steam boiler, can be on the cool side during the heating season.
The Maplewood Inn is located on Vermont Route 22A, which sees a fair amount of daytime traffic (by Vermont standards) but lessens considerably at night. We've provided white noise/sound machines for those not accustomed to unfamiliar nighttime noises.
For large families, this room can be opened to the adjoining Aspen Leaf bedroom.
Maximum occupancy: 4 guests (2 in bed, 2 in sleeper)
